Lisa Olander

Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Lisa was born and raised in East Africa as the child of missionaries. She grew up there among multiple cultures and lived until age 18.


Lisa started her career studying Bible and psychology at Columbia International University in SC, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2010. Lisa continued to work with children with autism then returned to school for a master’s degree. Lisa received her master’s in social work and became a Licensed Master Social Worker
(LMSW) shortly after graduation in 2014. She more recently moved to Florida to be closer to family.


Lisa has over 10 years experience working in multiple settings will all ages of youth, as well as with adults, families, and groups. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, community and private practices, and schools. Lisa works will all mental health disorders but her primary specialty is play therapy with children and is working towards her Registered Play Therapist license. Her other specialties include defiant/reluctant children and teenagers, depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, and Third Culture Kid (TCK) concerns (e.g. children in miltiary families).


In her spare time Lisa really enjoys longboarding, basketball, adventures with friends, the outdoors and travel, painting, fashion and design shows, and time with her pet parrots.

Fees

$140  per 55- minute individual Session

$160 per 55- minute Family Session
